When MODO approached Paisanos, they were under immense pressure to launch their product as quickly as possible, with only the backend developed and no existing user interface or brand identity. They were entering a highly competitive market dominated by established players like Mercado Pago, making it essential to create a product that could stand out both in design and functionality.
We decided to create a design system based on the 3 core features that the product will offer to customers. Send money, ask for money and pay with a QR code. The goal was to create a pattern for each vertical, applied to the product as well as communication.
