UILS addresses a critical challenge faced by many mobility app drivers who do not own their vehicles. These drivers often perceive up to 40% less monthly income compared to those who own their vehicles.

The financial burden of renting or leasing a car significantly cuts into their earnings, leaving them with less take-home pay and limited financial flexibility. This income disparity makes it difficult for drivers to improve their financial situation or invest in their own vehicle, which could boost their earnings and provide greater job security.

We began conducting user interviews to better understand the drivers' pain points and tasks.

Using the information gathered during the research, we held several sessions to define and scope the functionalities for the MVP.

In addition to our research and scoping efforts, we developed a custom design system that included all the app components.

This design system was meticulously crafted to ensure consistency and coherence across the entire user interface, providing a unified visual and functional experience. It encompassed everything from buttons, icons, and typography to color schemes, layouts, and interactive elements.

Reusable components for a scalable and consistent product

We used Palenca, an API as a service startup to obtain user's income information from the mobility apps.
